    about a quarter of a mile there is bog. The Cottage Road is so called because many cottages were to be married there.
    The new Line is the most important of the roads. the Mac Gillcudy's Reeks and the river Laune can bee seen from it.
    The Listry Road leads from Milltown to The Chapel. The Bog Road leads from Dealy's Cross to Lahard. The Cottage Road leads from Dealy's Cross to Kennedy's. The avenue leads from Kennedy's to Neill's Cross.
    Some of the roads were made during the Penal Days. The new who worked on the roads were payed two pence a day.
    There is an old path leading from Kilbonane to Ballymalis.
