  1. Ben Bulben, near my home is another historic spot. To it Diarmuid and Grania fled from the wrath of Fionn. On it's Summit Diarmuid was killed by the wild boar of Ben Bulben.
    In the vicinity of Ben Bulben too, is Lough Gill which contains the Isle of Innisfree made famous by the genius of W.B. Yeats.
    On the summit of Knocknarea is a huge cairn of large stones. The local people say it is the last resting place of Maeve, Queen of Connaught .
