  1. The cave that young O'Dowd was brought up in is some where near Dromore West and it is somewhere in Michael Walter's land, and the next neighbour to Michael Walter is James Finnegan. Michael Walters is not alive but his sons are. The cave was large enough to hold twelve (12) people, and it was made of rocks.
    The entrance to the cave is not noticeable now, as it fell in with heavy storms. It is near a river (Dooneal river) that runs through Dromore.
