    11, If there is fog with a new moon it is a sign of fine weather and if there is fog with an old moon it is the sign of bad weather.
    12, If the cat is scraping or if he has his back to the fire it is the sign of rain.
    13, If you had corns and if they were getting sore it would be a sign of rain also.
    14, If the sheep were all gathered together in a field it would be the sign of a thunder storm.
    15, If the geese were screeching it would be the sign of a storm.
    16, In some houses people have weather glasses. They get a jam jar and fill it with water and they put a cork down into the water. They put a bottle in on top of the jar and then if the cork goes up it is the sign of fine weather and if the cork goes down it is the sign of rain.
