- I was told that there lived in Galway a Jesuit named Father Tom Burke, and he was great Priest but He used to take drink. One night he was to have a great charity Sermon but He took too much drink during the day. When he came into the Sacristy he pretended to be alot worse than what he was and the other Jesuits did not want to let him out on the Altar because they thought he was too drunk but he went out and there were hundreds of people there.
