All the Pollock tenants paid the amount due and so baffled the cunning landlord. The act was again repealed. He again allowed arrears to accumlate to a period of fifteen years and was about to decree them when he dropped dead.
His successor was Blake of Ballyglunin, who gave them all a clear receipt.
