    the black rocks they could find. These they cleaned and dressed, and they sold them. This is how they made their living. When the "Blacks" died, it is said that they were buried in the bog now owned by Patrick O'Connor.
    The Little Bridge is so called because it is very small. It is said that near this there was a Priest killed a long time ago. He was riding on horseback on Little Christmas night when all off a sudden the horse got frightened, the Priest was thrown from his saddle and killed. It is believed that every Little Christmas night a light is seen here and also the noise of horses' hoofs galloping.
