    Priests.
On the 27th of September the people visit St. Michaels well. The people vist St. Cummins well on the 15th of October. They say the stations in their bare feet and they also throw seven pebbles in to the well in honour of the seven colours of the blessed Virgin. There are no certain days to visit the well near the Ivy gable. The people just go in when they are passing. It is said that the water in that well cured people who had warts. The prayers they say when they are going around the well seven time are one Our Father and seven Hail Marys. The people also throw in a coin as well as a stone. The people usually bring a bottle of the water home with them. There are trees near these wells. There are no fish in them.
    Mrs Callaghan told me this.
