  2. Bread
    Oaten bread was the principal bread eaten in this district long ago. Oaten bread was made from oaten meal. They also used to eat whole meal, this was made from wheat. The people used make oaten meal with hand querns. They used have a sheet on the table and grind the oats on it. People used grind oats themselves.
    Potato cake was also made with potatoes and meal and sometimes a little salt mixed with it. They used eat boxy also. It was made
