    Mr. Martin F. French owned a property in Ballinamore and he was a native of the place also. He was very tall and strong. One day he was walking through his property, and he saw six men trying to change a large stone pillar and they were not able. He told them to move aside and that he would change it. He did so, and he had a new pair of shoes on him, and he put his toes out through them. He is dead now.
