   When a dog eats grass.

   When the soot falls.
   When the cat scrapes a log.
   When the birds fly low.
   When there are blue blazes in the fire.
   When the sky is black.
   When a dog drinks.
   When there is a rainbow in the sky.
   When the hills look near.
   When the smoke goes up straight out of the chimney.
   When the cricket sings sharply
   When the sun goes down pale
   When the clouds are low and going fast.
