  1. Once upon a time there lived three men named Paddy the Irish man, Paddy the Englishman and Paddy the Scotchman. They left a loaf sitting on the table and they said whoever would dream the best dream would eat the loaf. Paddy the Irishman dreamt that he was killed in a motor accident. Paddy the Englishman dreamt that he had to go to war and Paddy the Scotchman dreamt that he rose in the middle of the night and ate the loaf and so he had done.
