  1. The inhabitants of this district have many saying concerning the weather. If the seagulls are flying inland it is one sign that rain is approaching. When swallows are flying low, and the dog eating grass are others.
    If rain is approaching you can see the following signs also. The track of snails on the road, the cricket singing in the hob. numerous midges in the evenings. If the bumble bee comes out just at dusk fine weather is at hand.
