  1. Almost every field has a name round this part of the districts and there are also many things and places with names.
    On my grandmother's farm there are the "Páirc Glas" (Green Park), Garrda an Gabhann i.e. The Blacksmiths Garden because and old smith lived there, whose name is unknown. The ruins of the house is to seen yet the "Curragh" it means a rough place. No crops are in it because because it is too rough and marshey The Rockín which is so called because the fields is rockey. The "Far field" is the fields at is the field at the end of the farm.
    There is a place in the farm called "Grainne's Bed" When Grainne and Diarmuid were flying from the north she slept there. There is a tradition that Diarmuid took the rock.
