  1. Marbles
    To play this game of marble first make three holes in the ground, each hole about two yards apart. Then two, three or more persons shoot in turn at the first hole, from two feet away, and whoever gets into it the first shoots on to the second hole and then to the third, but if he likes he can wait for his companions and he can also shoot at their marbles and keep them out of the holes.
