  1. One evening my mother went for a bucket of water to the well. As she was coming back she heard a terrible cry. She listened again and she heard one beside her. She heard a third cry about a mile away. She did not know what it was. An old woman that lived close by told her it was a Banshee and the cries were a sign. My brother died two days later, my grannie a fortnight after and my father died in six month's time.
