  1. My Grandfather told me a short story about match-making. They used to do it at night. The man used to come to the brides house and bring all his friends with them. The bride used to be above in the room when they would come. They would go to the chapel and they would go on horse-back. When they would be going home they would be shouting and singing. When they would land home they would get all sorts of drink and they would be as drunk as a stick and falling from one side of the road to the other.
