- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)There are fairs held every month in Borrisokane and in Nenagh. The fairs in Borrisokane are fixed dates, and the fairs in Nenagh are held on the first day of every month. There is always a penny custom taken for sheep as they pass into the fair. It is only taken three or four times in the year for cattle. Everyone that sells a horse gives the bridle or rope that they would have on the horse, to the person that buys the horse. They also give money to the buyer and it is called "luck money". When cattle are sold they mark them a raddle or a piece of mud or they out a piece of hair off their heads
