    by being a Catholic. She became a staunch one but always held that her conversion was due to the "well that was forgotton." She was laid to rest in peace as the bells were ringing out their welcome to the new year and new century.
    The well is situated in a woody hollow which is very difficult to reach. It is covered over by two large stone slabs so as to give one the inpression of a very tiny one roomed cabin whose roof is level with the ground. To reach the water one must decend three steps (of stone). It is evident that the people that the people regarded the well as holy from this carefully built barrier of protection around it.
