    He was the last priest who lived there.
    He was catholic curate of Carrickallen and was removed to another parish and was broken hearted leaving.
    In upper Tullyinchin there was a Tanyard on the lands formerly owned by James Brady
    Tullyinchin,
    Mountain Lodge.
    Cootehill, and now owned by Charlie Reilly of the same address.
    When the tanyard fell into disuse there was a school there, which accommodated the people of the district up to the year 1872.
    There was a song made on the making of the road which branches off the Cavan - Shercock road about a quarter of a mile from Carrickallen school and end at the Clifferna road.
    This road is known as the "New Line".
    Here is a verse of the song, it was made by James Brady of the tanyard.
    "The New Line".
    In the month of October, you all mind the date.
    The new line was commenced in the year
