In my disitrict there is a well known as "The well of the Fo-Gorta" which means "The Hungry well". The original of this name is. In my townland there is a bottom called 'bo "Card Bottom". The way it got its name is. When a man named Coyle was coming from a game of cards he had a "deck" of cards in his pocket when he got home missed them.
