- Halloweve is a very big festival. It falls on the 31stt of October. The reason is because it is the evening before All Saints Day. Long ago the young fellows would go about tying doors and hiding gates and putting Cayenne pepper in on the key holes of the door.
Small boys have lots of sport on Halloweve night also. They get a tub of water and they put an apple into it. Then they try to catch the apple in the water with their mouth. We get nuts and apples on Halloweve night.
