  1. (continued from previous page)
There are four corners round my bed.
There are four angels round it spread.
St. Mattew, Mark, St. Luke and John.
God bless the bed that I lie on.
    ___________
O! Infant Jesus meek and mild
Look on me a little child.
    Pity mine and pity me
Suffer me to come to Thee.
Lord have mercy on the Poor
    Suffering Souls in Purgatory. Amen
    ___________
Here is an other prayer said before you go asleep.
As I lie down my head to sleep,
I give my soul to God to take.
And if I die before I wake,
I give my soul to God to take.
O! Holy Angel mind me to-night
