    All that day you'll have good luck.
    Meet a nail and let it lie
    Bad luck you'll have until you die.
    Some people wouldn't let you bring a sup of milk or a bit of butter after night.
    Some consider it unlucky to use water which was in the house Halloweve night.
    Some consider it unlucky to throw out any water or ashes or other things on New Years day.
    Some say you'll have luck, if you bring a roasted potato in your pocket to the fair.
