    he would give as many days to the seller as would pay for it.
    It was considered unlucky to transact business on certain days.
    These days were Good Friday and Ash Wednesday. In former times the markets were held in Stradone and Ballyjamesduff. There are no markets held in Stradone now.
    There were dealers in feathers and rags who visited districts in olden times. It is very seldom you would see dealers in rags now.
    The coins used now were used in olden times, but there were gold coins used such as sovereign, half sovereign, five shilling piece, four shilling piece, and a fourpenny bit, and these are not used now.
