Ar an leathanach seo
- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)the headquarters of the militia in Newtown and the seat of Lord Rossmore. He often walked up and down the street of Newtown with a corpse dangling at his heels.
In conjunction with some fellow officers who were in higher rank he continued to goad the people to rebellion up to '98. But he did not live long to enjoy the fruits of his work. In 1800 he was striken with a terrible disease and literally devoured by vermin. After twenty-one days of terrible agony he died and was buried in St Andrews Churchyard.
