Ar an leathanach seo
- Taws is the local word for marbles. When you are going to play a game of taws you make three holes in the ground about four feet apart. The holes are about one inch in diameter. Then you make a line at each end of the holes the same distance from the end holes as the holes are from each other. These lines are called liners. Next you make a line on each side of the holes about three from them & parallel to them. These lines are called bankers.
Any number of players can play a game of taws but the highest number allowed to play locally is six. At the beginning of the game each player(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Bailitheoir
