    Palm
    Farmers put palm up in the stable, cow house and pig sty to bring a blessing on the stock.
    Holy Water
    On 1st May they sprinkled the flocks and crops with Easter Holy Water.
    On 1st May they used strike the cattle with a quicken gad when putting them out of the house after the Winter.
