Ar an leathanach seo

  1. James Bush was a local poet in former times. He lived at Ballnabarney, Redcross, Co. Wicklow. He is dead for 14 years. He was about seventy when he died. He is buried in Barniskey.
    He composed in English. Every football match played in the district he wrote a song about it. The best known of these is, the poem on the match between Avondale and Conary. James Bush was only a labourer.
    Another local poet is the Roving Bard. Of every accident and burning he writes a song about it. When Mr. Cookes house was burnt he wrote a song about it. The name of it is Cooke and
