People used cut out images out of turnips put lighting candles in them & the candles will shine out through the eyes.
There are people in Avoca named Misses Wynne. They have a toy making industry in Avoca. They cut out the toys in cloth & give them out to the [?] girls & children in the district they sew them up & the constant employees fill these shapes with sawdust or other filling.
