    The straw boys or "colicks" as they are locally called, dress very fantastically, sometimes in the queerest dress imaginable. They disguise their vioces so as not to be known and during the night they are entertained and given food in the home of the newly married.
    Long ago in our grandparents' time carriages were used to bring the guests, and each rode against each other so as to see who would have the finest and fleetest horses. No one of those I asked ever heard of the wives sitting on the horses with their husbands.
