They do their work in their homes
I hear long ago the tailors went around and worked in the houses of their customers.
The local tailors do not stock cloth. They stock patterns. If you required a suit they would give you a book of patterns and let you choose the cloth
They will then order as many yards as you require to make the article.
The cloth is not woven or spun in this locality.
It is said that tailors are never as strong as any other men because they are sitting all day and never get any exercise.
