There is generally always a mark telling the price of it. There are little screws which screw into the lid to keep it tight. There is a handle on the side of it which is worked by a little wheel inside which put around the churn and dashes the milk from one side to the other. There are different kinds of churns. A dash churn which throw the milk from one side to the other which is used by a dash, and a round about churn and a hand churn.
