Bog Onion: It grows in Moors. When it is in bloom it has a yellow flower. It is fit for use when in bloom. Old people said it was the cure for diarrhea. It has to be pulled in September and left until it is seasoned. You have to put the onions into milk and boil them. When it is boiled it turns white. It is left to cool and then drank.
Scutch: It grows in bad land. It is good for pigs.
The Dock Leaf: It is the cure for stings and sore eyes.
