  2. Once upon a time there was a step-mother over a beautiful girl, and the step-mother used to beat her, and make her wash herself out in the open air.
    She used to make her wash and make all her own clothes, and she used to put brown paint on her face. After sometimes the step-mother used to give her no tea, and make her draw the water to the house and do the messages. When her shoes were worn she used to make her go in her feet.
    So one day the girl died of
