Ar an leathanach seo

  1. Once upon a time a man had a servant boy.
    The boy was bringing a goose up to dinner and he felt hungry so he ate one of the legs of the goose.
    When he came into the room where his master and friends were, the master noticed the goose had only one leg.
    "What happened to the other leg?, said his master.
    "Oh"! said the boy, "a goose has only has only one leg".
    But his master argued that a goose had two legs.
    One day afterwards while out driving they saw a goose at the edge of a river standing on one leg.
    The boy shouted, "Look, there's another goose with only one leg", but his master said it had two legs.
    The boy answered, "No, not two, but one".
    His master got down from the trap and cracked his whip.
    The goose at once dropped
