    reminds us also of the sad fate of a man who was also killed when coming from a Races. He was cycling homewards when he collided with a trap at a sharp turn on the road. The shaft pierced him and he died instantly.
    There is another cross halfway between Kilbride and Trim, which tells of an accident which occurred when when a man, in the employment of Mr. P.J. Dunne of Carrollstown House was returning to Trim on horseback. The animal took fright, and dashed away, throwing the rider heavily, and killing him.
