  1. Holy water is specially blessed on Easter Saturday Everyone likes to get holy water that is blessed at Easter. People bless the house with it. Water is got in Lady Well in Slane and in St. Ultans Well in Ardbraccan. People rub this water from these wells to their affected parts and are cured.
    Branches and Herbs
    There is an herb called Marshmallow. It cures a sprain.
    Holy and Ivy
    On Christmas Day the house is decorated with holy and ivy.
    Holy water is used for blessing oneself, for keeping one from accidents and for blessing the house.
