There is a spring well in Bullstown at the back of Hickeys of Greenoge and it is used to provide water for the cattle as there is no (water) river on that farm.
It was used long ago for the same purpose.

Robertstown. The fortified residence, of the town belonging to Roberts.
Hammondstown. The townland belonging to Hammons, presumably some old Norman family.
THe Mageen. "The milking field." Bartleys own that field now.
Fleenstown. The town belonging to Flynns or Fleens.
Cookstown. The town belonging to people named Cookss. There is no one of that name living around here .
