   Mr. Roantree, Mrs Kelly & Miss Kelly tell a story of buried treasure somewhere in the grounds of Staffordstown Ho. It seems the Cusack family buried a chest of plate and jewels the whereabouts of which is very vague. In the rays of the setting sun some tree on the lawn throws a shadow. So many paces from the roots of this tree along the shadow the treasure is supposed to lie. Nobody knows if any attempts were ever made to recover it.
