    builds her best of heavy material.The structure which is dome-shaped with a hole at the side is composed of twigs,roots,leaves,moss,and feathers,and is placed in varied positions,principally against the trunk of a tree,under the thatch of a building and in concealed places.The wren will often make two or three nests before one is settled to her satisfaction,when however this is settled she lays from six to eight white eggs speckled with a few red spots upon which she sits for about two days.
    The thrush well distinguished as a"Song thrush" as its name denotes possesses one of the most melodious bird voices.The thrush has an almost colourless plumage,the upper part being olive brown and somewhat deeper colour upon the head and neck.The throat is a
