  1. A ghost Story.
    At Cullen Rectory some years ago there was a Christmas party, and among the guests were two English Officers.
    The two were playing cards until the small hours, and when going to bed one remarked to the other "Who was that standing at the bedroom door so strangely dressed", the elder of the two went up to the figur and it vanished. They desribed the lady they had seen, but never forgot her ghostly face as holes were visible instead of eyes. Mr. Smyth the host, when questioned merely remakred "I cannot but believe, for she ushered me into my room last night.
