  1. I'll sing to-night of Cappawhite the spot that gave me birth,
Tho' humble yet it is to me the fairest spot on earth,
And tho' I roam far oer the foam, and in alien scenes delight,
Fond memory e'ir will waft me back, round lovely Cappawhite.
Oh that fair spot is dear to me, and ever will remain,
For joyous were the days I spent, and hope to spend again,
Within it's glen's and valleys fair,
    among people true upright
May god bless that dear native spot, sweet lovely Cappawhite.
Sure loyal and true to Erins cause your sons have every been,
And tho' oppressed by alien laws they've ever loved the green.
And never yet could it be said, that they shirked freedom fight.
No truer Irishman you'll find round lovely Cappawhite.
