    This from Bill Heelan, journeyman, showmaker, from Skeheennarinka, who made boots for the household at Montanavoe (Grogans) 1900 or so about that time interest was being rvived in old Irish songs and stories.

    "Pet kid, pet lamb,
    I never gave to any man that ever wore a hat.
    But if I'd give him to any man,
    I'd give him to Dinny Bowes.
    And you may tell your father that."
