  1. Cure for a burn:
    Laurel leaves and fresh lard mixed together and put on he burn will ease the pain and will cure after a few days.
    A toothache:
    Put cold water in the mouth and it over he fire until it boils and when it boils the toothache will go
    A Headache:
    Rub the forehead with vinegar every en minutes and he pain will soon go
    Put a cold flat stone on the forehead and it will ease the pain.
    Chilblains:
    Ivy leaves steeped in vinegar then bound round the chilblains will cure them.
    Cure for a sore throat:
    Fill a stocking with
