  1. A Fort
There is a small fort on Mr Grant's farm in Knocknacree about 2 miles from Cloughjordan. The bushes were cut down by them and burnt in the year 1935. After that some of Mr. Grant's cows, sheep and pigs died.
The year following Mr. Grant's sons planted the fort with young trees. They repaired the steps going up to one end of the fort. They settled everything as well as they could. After that the work of the farm prospered.
