Ar an leathanach seo
- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)of a mixture of 4 cwts superphosphate 1 cwts sulphate of Anmonia and 1 cwt muriate of potash. Wooden plough's are not used now but they were used long ago. We plant medium size seed seed and cut the large potatoes in two sets, a few days before planting. We spray the potatoes about the middle of June, with a spraying machine. We plough out the potatoes two weeks after the stocks have withered. We pit them about 3 1/2 feet wide.
- An acre and a half is the usual acrage we cover with the potatoes. The servants prepare the ground for the sowing of the potatoes. The ground is always manured before(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
