- In Newcastle West there stands a hill which is shaped just like a boy's peg-top upside down.
On the top is a big house where the lady who built it used to go for the summer months; but that was long after the days of the fairies. Long before this house was built, the villagers used to turn their cattle out to graze on the green slopes of the hill.
