Some years ago there was a person in this parish who was good for making poetry. His name was Michael Taylor. He lived in Upper Athea. He composed a song called "The Barns by the Galey". There is another man in this parish who is good for making rhymes. He composed a song called "Maggie from the Lots". His name is Michael Drury.
