    One day there was a man ploughing a field near Clonmult graveyard when he struck a flag. He marked the ground and went on with the work until dinner hour. He went home and ate his dinner which was very little as he was so excited. While his horses were feeding he took his pick and shovel and went to the place where he had marked. He raised the flag and what did he see to his great joy, but an earthenware crock. He raised the lid and was very disappointed at seeing the contents which were shaped like coins which were marked shillings and so on they were not silver or gold but slate. He said it was coins that were used long ago.
